Getting Ready For Halloween 2009
A little bit about our family background…. we love Halloween. My husband and myself were raised in families that went all out for Halloween. We were married on Halloween 25 years ago this year. There is evidence of Halloween all around our home year round. We start planning our next Halloween about the first week in November and work through the winter, spring and summer to get ready for our next massive yard haunt.
We have a large graveyard, we have 15 fog machines, we have animatronics props, four coffins, two caskets, 10 Bucky skeletons and so much more, it all fills a 40 foot cargo container in our back yard. We live in a rural area of Nevada on 2.5 acres so we have plenty of room to set things up.
This year we’ve been checking out Halloween Online and another site, The Yard Haunter, for new ideas to add to our indoor and outdoor decorations this year.
Since this is our first entry, I’ll keep it short. Next time I’ll talk about some of the new additions we are building for this Halloween.
